Hibralem Zewdu is a visionary young woman with aspirations to become a socially-oriented entrepreneur and a global advocate for youth, sustainability, and mental health. With over 11 years of dedicated youth volunteer experience, she holds various roles, including lecturer, volunteer youth leader, and founder of the Hibran-Mella sustainability and mental health advocacy project. She has been recognized for her contributions, winning three different youth engagement contests. These contests focused on raising awareness about green jobs for youth, combating gender-based violence, and promoting the accessibility and rights of persons with disabilities.In addition to her local initiatives, Hibralem is a member of UNESCO's youth and disability engagement advisory group. She is also a candidate for the United People Global Sustainability Leadership 2024, where she works on SDG 3 to ensure healthy lives and promote mental well-being for all ages. Hibralem strongly believes that mental health is a fundamental human right and advocates for more frequent discussions on the topic.
